	"POP BEHIND THE SCENES" SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") 2002 OFFICIAL RULES NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS, 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER. VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED. SPONSORS: Warner Bros. Online and General Mills. "Sponsor and their agents" shall mean Warner Bros. Online, General Mills, and their respective advertising, promotional agencies, officers and agents. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents (excluding PR) who are 18 years of age or older and who had Internet access on or before December 9, 2002. Employees of AOL Time Warner, Inc., Warner Bros., Warner Bros. Online, Warner Bros. Television, The WB Network, General Mills and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotional agencies and their respective officers and agents and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible. HOW TO ENTER: This Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. PST on December 10, 2002, and ends 11:59:01 p.m. PST on February 14, 2003. To enter the Sweepstakes, go to http://www2.warnerbros.com/popbehindthescenes/sweepstakes.html, and you will be prompted to enter your email address, first and last name, street, city, State, zip code, telephone number, birthday, gender and your favorite Pop Secret® Popcorn flavor (each an "Entry") and click on the submit button. (Please note that entrants who haven't tried Pop Secret® Popcorn, can enter the Pop Secret® Popcorn flavor which interests them most.) Only one Entry per day per household is allowed. If more than one such Entry is submitted within 24 hours, only the first such Entry submitted will be accepted. Illegible and/or incomplete Entries are void. By entering, entrants agree to comply with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. Sponsors and their agents are not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected Entries, for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, for lost or unavailable network connections, or for failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or any human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of the Entries. Proof of entering information at website does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt. Sponsors reserve the right to modify the scheduling of the Sweepstakes without prior notification. Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and may result in the disqualification of the entrant. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the e-mail account is registered on the date the Entry is submitted. All Entries become property of the Sponsors and will not be returned. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: One (1) winner ("Winner") will be selected in a random drawing on or about February 18, 2003, by Sponsors or their designees, the judge of the Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The Winner will be notified by e-mail or telephone ("Prize Notification") and must respond by email or telephone within 2 days of the date of the Prize Notification (the "Deadline"), with his/her full name and a mailing address ("Mailing Information"), where Sponsors can send an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability (the "Release"). If the Winner does not respond to the Prize Notification by the Deadline, the Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Winner will be selected. Once Sponsors receive the Winner's Mailing Information, Release(s) for the Winner and Winner's Guest, if applicable and as defined below, will be sent to the Winner via overnight mail. The Winner must return signed Release(s) in the pre-paid overnight envelope provided, within 5 days of the date Sponsor sends the Release(s), or the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Return of any Prize Notification or Release as undeliverable will result in disqualification, and an alternate Winner will be selected. Once verified, the Winner's name will be posted online. PRIZE AND ODDS OF WINNING: PRIZE: Winner will receive a trip for two (2) to Los Angeles, including round-trip coach air transportation for Winner and one guest ("Guest") from the major airport nearest the Winner's residence, ground transportation for the Winner and his/her Guest between airport, hotel and Warner Bros. Studios, 3 days/2 nights (single room/double occupancy) hotel accommodations at a hotel selected by Sponsors, two tickets to see a live taping of the television show, "Friends", $500 spending cash, VIP tour of the Warner Bros. Studios, lunch at the WB Commissary, and a salon package including transportation between hotel and salon. Approximate retail value ("ARV") is Four Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Four Dollars ($4,954.00) (the "Prize"). If Sponsors are unable to fulfill any portion of the Prize because of circumstances beyond their control, then the remaining elements of the Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors' Prize obligation to the Winner and no other additional compensation will be awarded. Winner must take the trip and attend the live taping of "Friends" on dates selected by Sponsors. No Prize substitution will be allowed, except at Sponsors' sole discretion. Prize is non-transferable. If the Guest is a minor (as defined by the Guest's State of residence), then the Winner must be the Guest's parent or legal guardian. The Winner and Guest must travel together. Expenses such as ground transportation between the Winner's residence and airport, phone calls, purchases, airport surcharges, departure taxes, and all other expenses not specifically listed are not included. The Winner and Guest (or his/her parent or legal guardian if Guest is a minor) must sign and return the Releases to Sponsor in the pre-paid overnight envelope provided, within 5 days of the date Sponsor sends the Releases to Winner, or the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. All federal, state, and local taxes related to the Prize are the Winner's sole responsibility. Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the total ARV of the Prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Los Angeles County, California, and all claims must be resolved in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California. By entering, entrants agree: (a) to be bound by the Official Rules, the decisions of the judge, the Warner Bros. Online Privacy Policy and the General Mills Privacy Policy, (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsors and their agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses or liabilities caused by, arising out of, or related to their participation in the Sweepstakes and/or their participation in any Prize-related activities; and (c) to be contacted by Sponsors via e-mail. By accepting the Prize, Winner consents to the use of his/her name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation (except if Winner is a resident of TN or where prohibited by law). INTERNET: If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsors that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and to select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation or termination. Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsors on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to any entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
