Furiously driving through the crowded streets of Manhattan, Bosco and Cruz pursue a suspect who is linked to journalist Aaron Noble (recurring guest star TOM BERENGER). The chase ends in a crash that injures several motorists and brings out the firefighters because of a small engine compartment fire in the suspect's supercharged car. While Doc, Carlos and Kim work elsewhere at the scene, Taylor unknowingly perches on a very dangerous spot in order to treat two elderly people. Meanwhile, Bosco is wracked with guilt because Cruz has involved him in a scheme to implicate an innocent man. With Yokas' reluctant help, he attempts to defy Cruz--resulting in a dangerous confrontation.
