The 2008 Warner Bros. Television Drama Writers Workshop runs October 21 - February 17 2009, meeting on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles, California every Wednesday from 7pm to 10pm. Full participation is mandatory.
The Workshop is open for submissions May 1 - July 25, 2008. Submissions must be postmarked by July 25, 2008 to be eligible. Writers may submit as many scripts as they choose to one or both programs (please see the Comedy Workshop submission guidelines).
Below is what you need to apply:

A one-hour writing sample (a spec script) based on a primetime network or cable drama series that aired new episodes during the 2007 - 2008 television season. The front cover page of the script must include all of the following: name of the series, episode title, writer(s) name(s), and writer contact information. Screenplays must be typed and presented in script format. Writing samples will not be returned. We do not accept any original material.

An application form and submission release form must be completed, signed and dated for each script submitted.

A non-refundable $30 application fee per drama script. Checks or money orders should be payable to Warner Bros. TV. Cash will not be accepted.

A current resume or bio. No recommendation letters, please.

Applicants will be notified in writing by October 3, 2008. Interviews for semi-finalists will be held October 8-10, 2008.
If selected, the program is free of charge.
